The role involves adult acute inpatient psychiatric stabilization, including both voluntary and involuntary admissions. Crisis intervention and behavioral de-escalation will be part of the workload. The worker will provide individual, group, and family therapy and engage in psychoeducational programming. Interdisciplinary treatment planning involves psychiatry, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, pharmacy, and case management. Substance use assessments and treatment coordination are required tasks. The role includes discharge planning and coordinating outpatient behavioral health services.
