Seven Healthcare are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for a per diem, flexible shift opportunity in Eureka Springs, AR. This role requires availability to work both day and night shifts, typically including one 12-hour night shift and every other Saturday day shift.

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Technician- Adheres to UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS standards
- Understand and comply with policies and procedures
- Demonstrate dependability & responsibility - including attendance, punctuality, and following instructions
- Perform venipuncture skill
- Conduct daily quality control & daily maintenance per guidelines
- Complete testing in a timely, concise manner
- Operation and troubleshooting of chemistry analyzers
- Operation and troubleshooting of UA analyzers
- Operation and troubleshooting of hematology analyzers
- Operation and troubleshooting of coag analyzers
- Perform blood bank testing including type, RH, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and QC
- Exhibit courtesy and professional conduct towards patients, lab staff, physicians, and other employees
- Conduct miscellaneous testing including serological/micro testing, and microscopic testing
- Communicate and share important information with co-workers, supervisors, fellow employees, and physicians
- Maintain overall quality of performance and conduct
Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Technician- Must have ASCP or AMT certification at time of submission
- Blood bank experience is a plus
