Key Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Technician- Perform laboratory tests and analyses to provide information for patient diagnosis and treatment
- Follow laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure accurate results
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment
- Document test results and communicate findings to healthcare providers
Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Technician- Current state license as a Medical Laboratory Technician
- Certification in Medical Laboratory Technology (ASCP or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting
