The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience. The technician will work variable shifts including 5x8 hour and 3x12 hour schedules. Weekend work will only occur on an on-call basis. Call requirements include every 4 weeks for 1 week. Candidates must be experienced in Blood Bank procedures as well as CMP, CPC, COVID, and FLU testing. Experience in urinalysis is also essential. The technician will be required to float within the facility to meet patient care needs. Local candidates are not accepted; the permanent residence must be a minimum of 50 miles from the facility. Candidates should provide a copy of their certifications and any previous charting system experience. Travelers should be willing to work during 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References are required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years.
