- Medical Laboratory Technician

- Minimum requirements:
- Current ASCP certification.
- Ability to read microbiology results independently preferred.
- Willing and able to perform venous and arterial blood collection.
- Prior experience with microbiology, hematology, chemistry, blood banking, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, and blood gases and ability to move between all areas easily within the same shift.
- A positive contributor to interpersonal interactions within the laboratory and MRH.
- Willingness to modify schedule to help accommodate time off requests.
- Emotionally mature and able to maintain same in stressful or STAT situations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
- Must possess high levels of self-motivation and management.
- Able to lift/move up to 15 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 15 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to work in a confidential manner.
- Reliable and timely with work schedule.
- Flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned.
