Microbiology experience should include Wet Prep (WBC, Yeast, Trichomonas). Chemistry experience is needed for Acetone Analysis, Arterial Blood Gas, Cardiac Enzymes, Immunoassay, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, and Thyroid Testing. Hematology/Coag experience should include automated instrument use, manual differential, and platelet count. Urinalysis experience must include manual macroscopic UA and microscopic UA, as well as UA analysis using analyzers. This role does not require BLS certification. No on-call requirements are expected for this position. Candidates must have flexible availability to work weekends every other week. Successful candidates will demonstrate competence in specimen collection, reporting test results, and using specified laboratory equipment. Candidates should be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A minimum educational requirement includes proof of high school level education.
