Largest community in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Local candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility for consideration. Attendance procedures are strictly enforced. A formal warning will be issued upon a second absence. Termination of contract may occur after a third absence unless otherwise agreed. All absences must be made up to maintain contracted hours. The facility will not cover early termination fees due to attendance or conduct violations.
