Position Details
- Position: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Facility: Mississippi Baptist Health System
- Location: Jackson, MS
- Department: Pathology – Blood Bank
- Contract Duration: 12 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
- Shift: Evening shift, 1:30 PM–12:00 AM
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- On-Call: None
- Radius Requirement: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- ASCP or AMT certification required.
- Experience with the following instruments and laboratory areas:
- Sysmex
- Cobas
- Stago
- Serology
- Urinalysis
- Ortho Vision
