Key Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Technician- Perform laboratory tests with accuracy and precision
- Handle pediatric and blood bank specimens effectively
- Operate Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzer
- Ensure proper documentation and lab reporting
Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Technician- Minimum of 3 years' experience required
- Registered Laboratory Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or American Medical Technologists
- AHA BLS certification required
- Experience with Blood Bank and Pediatrics required
- Preferred experience in phlebotomy
