A Med Lab Tech or Medical Technologist job in an acute care laboratory in Ville Platte, LA lets you perform routine and complex laboratory tests to support patient diagnosis and treatment. You will collect and prepare samples, operate and maintain lab equipment, analyze and report results, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Recommended qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or a related field, Louisiana licensure, and certification from a recognized body such as ASCP. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience with laboratory information systems are preferred.

Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist, Laboratory
Experience: 1 year
MT-LA
Certifications(At least one of the following): CERT-AMT, CERT-ASCP-MLS
OR
Medical Laboratory Technician, Laboratory
Experience: 1 year
MLT-LA
Certifications(At least one of the following): CERT-AMT, CERT-ASCP-MLT
Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in last 7 years
References: 1 Reference in the last 12 months
