Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - $1,646 to $1,787 per week in Glenwood Springs, CO

Collect, receive, identify, label, and process patient specimens according to established laboratory procedures.

Perform microbiology testing, including culture processing, microbial identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.

Conduct microbiology plate reading, interpret culture results, and identify clinically significant organisms.

Perform chemical, microscopic, bacteriological, and other diagnostic laboratory tests with accuracy and attention to detail.

Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain manual and automated laboratory equipment.

Document test results, maintain accurate laboratory records, and enter patient information and results into the MEDITECH laboratory information system.

Review and verify laboratory findings, identify abnormal results, and escalate critical or unusual findings to the appropriate clinical personnel.

Follow established quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory safety protocols.

Maintain compliance with applicable laboratory standards, infection control procedures, and specimen handling requirements.

Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results.

Assist with laboratory workflow coordination and provide supervisory support when required.
