Job Summary
ICU Medical Specialist Night Shift Location: New York. This position involves providing high-quality intensive care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of critical conditions, including sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and cardiac emergencies. The role requires a licensed professional experienced in critical care procedures and charting using EPIC electronic medical records.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Education Requirements: NY license in hand.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be over 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
- Years of Experience: 2 years.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Critical care experience, experience with EPIC charting, and relevant certifications.
- Additional Information: Candidates will Float; charting experience with the EPIC system is essential; modules are billable up to 5 hours, with total module time not exceeding 10 hours. Candidates should be familiar with ventilator management, arterial lines, CVVHD/CRRT, and protocols for multiple critical diagnoses.
