Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring Arkansas or compact RN licensure and 2+ years of critical care experience.

Details

  • Medical ICU unit within a 32-bed acute care hospital setting
  • Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Float requirements to stepdown and med surg units
  • EPIC EMR used

Requirements

  • Active AR or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • Minimum 2+ years of critical care experience required
  • CCRN certification preferred
  • Must pass a medication and math competency exam (90% passing grade, one retake allowed) prior to administering medications
  • No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Fast-paced unit seeking upbeat and driven nurses
  • Black scrub color required
  • Open-toe shoes not permitted
  • Up to 5 days of RTO allowed, must be made up during the assignment
  • Local candidates accepted, though bill rate is reduced for those residing within 50 miles of the facility
  • Subcontractor staff within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
