Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and any other procedures that are pertinent to the practice and within the scope of MA certification.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and any other procedures that are pertinent to the practice and within the scope of MA certification. Assist the physician in examinations, which may include taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Keep rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies. Take and return patient phone calls as directed by the Physician. Give instructions to patients as instructed by the physician. Requisition supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock. Assist with the maintenance of the medical record, including the completion of referral forms, lab slips, and other pertinent documentation as requested by the Physician. Assist patients getting to and from exam rooms, preparing for exams, as requested, and during procedures. Assist with any nursing procedure as directed by the Physician. Work as a member of a team and be flexible, assisting in other areas as requested by the Manager and/or Clinical Coordinator while operating within the guidelines of MA certification.
