Shift Details
- Core hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Work hours will range between 6:45 AM and 6:00 PM, with Tuesday having extended hours until 8:00 PM
- The Medical Assistant must work until the Physician has completed all patients and may need to stay beyond the scheduled end time to finish out the day if/when needed
- Schedules are adjusted as needed in cases of shifts worked over 8 hours
- The practice manager releases shift schedules one week in advance
Contract Type
- Temp-to-Hire — candidates must be interested in converting to a permanent staff position
- Pay rate as a full-time CMA is approximately $21–$22/hour
- Pay rate must not exceed $22/hour

Position Overview
- The Medical Assistant (MA) assists the practice manager and physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focus
- Supports the delivery of high-quality care
- Shares a passion for patient and customer centered care
- Assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets
- Provides patient care through performance of patient preparation, interviewing, technical tasks, and patient/family communication
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of CMA experience required
- Candidates who need minimal training and are able to contribute to the practice immediately are preferred
- Previous Epic experience preferred
Interview Process
- Two rounds of interviews
- Round 1: Microsoft Teams (virtual)
- Round 2: In-person
Training
- 4-hour EMR training held on Fridays, conducted virtually
Compliance Requirements
- Compliance is due on the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not start this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of having the contract cancelled
