Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, skilled care to patients in an ambulatory Hematology/Oncology clinic
  • Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy with confidence and a gentle touch
  • Assist with order transcription and chart abstraction to ensure accurate patient records
  • Collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to support patients through their cancer journey
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized environment in the clinic and lab
  • Use Epic and Cerner systems to document and coordinate patient care efficiently
Qualifications
  • Active Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) credential required
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant medical assisting experience
  • Valid driver's license required at time of submission
  • Strong venipuncture and phlebotomy experience is a must
  • Proficiency in Epic EHR system is required
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of oncology and hematology patient care in an ambulatory setting
  • Skilled in order transcription and chart abstraction
  • Comfortable working with EHR systems like Epic and Cerner
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compassionate clinical environment
