This travel assignment is focused on supporting the CT unit in a teaching facility, demanding close collaboration with a Radiology Tech. Key Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant - Interventional Radiology- Assist in clerical, non-technical, and non-exposure aspects of patient exams
- Manage workflow, answer phones, and stock exam rooms
- Aid patients to and from exam rooms and department
- Schedule and process exams, prepare for regulatory and hospital audits
- Utilize department computer systems and start IVs in certain modalities
Requirements of the Medical Assistant - Interventional Radiology- Current BLS certification
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
- Proficiency in starting IVs
