This role is within a family medicine environment and involves working closely with providers to deliver comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant- Administer injections: vaccines, Depo, testosterone, Toradol, Rocephin
- Room patients, take vitals and medical history
- Obtain and manage A1C, EKGs, and assist with ear lavages
- Set up for cultures/pap smears and perform scheduling support as needed
- Provide patient education and ensure follow-up on test results
Requirements of the Medical Assistant- BLS certification
- Experience in family practice and pediatric care
- Proficiency with Ambulatory EPIC is required
