Local Contract Allied Health – Clinical Services Associate (CMA/PSR)Position Overview
- Temp-to-Hire opportunity with the intent to convert to a permanent staff position
- Only candidates interested in permanent conversion will be considered
- Pay rate upon conversion to full-time staff: approximately $21–$22/hour
- Candidates should be able to commute to the practice in 45 minutes or less

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Shift hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Core hours flexibility between 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM — details to be discussed during interview
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vitals
- Perform phlebotomy
- Use EMR to alert providers that a patient is ready
- Review past medical, surgical, family, and smoking history; allergies; medications; and other responsibilities as assigned
- Front desk work — meet and greet patients
- Schedule visits and handle clinical phone communication
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Role Description
- The Clinical Services Associate (CSA) assists the practice manager and physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focus
- Supports the delivery of high-quality care
- Shares a passion for patient and customer-centered care
- Assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets
- Supports the practice by performing clinical and administrative duties as a Medical Assistant (MA) and as a Patient Services Associate (PSA)
- The practice will determine, based on operational needs, how much time will be spent in each capacity (MA and PSA)
Experience
- 2+ years as a CMA working in a physician office setting
- EPIC experience is a plus

- MA certification required
Interview Details
- In-person, onsite interview
Training
- 4-hour EMR training on Friday from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break)
- HIPAA Module (approximately 15 minutes)
- 4-Day EMR Scheduling Training after start date (Tuesday through Friday)
Compliance
- Compliance is due on the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not start this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of the contract being cancelled
