Shift Details
- Monday through Friday
- Core hours between 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM
- Flexibility within the 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM window is expected; specific schedule will be discussed during the interview
- Candidates should be able to commute to the practice in 30 minutes or less
Contract Type
- Temp-to-Hire — candidates must be interested in converting to a permanent staff position
- Pay rate for the full-time role is approximately $21–$22 per hour
- Pay rate must not exceed $22 per hour

Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Take and record vitals
- Perform phlebotomy
- Use EMR to alert providers that a patient is ready
- Review past medical, surgical, family, and smoking history
- Review allergies and medications
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a CMA in a physician office setting
- EPIC experience is a plus
Interview Details
- In-person, onsite interview
Training
- 4-hour EMR training session held on a Friday from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break)
- HIPAA module training (approximately 15 minutes)
Compliance Requirements
- Compliance documentation is due the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award
- Medicals and drug screens must be initiated within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not begin this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of having the contract cancelled
