Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Family Medicine | Travel Contract
Location: Newport, NH
Department: Rehabilitation / Clinic
Contract: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Shift: Days
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
EMR: Epic
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Clinic may remain open until 7:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays
- 40-hour workweek
- No regular weekend requirements
- Holiday coverage may be required
- No on-call requirement
- Provide clinical and administrative support in a family medicine/clinic setting.
- Perform basic office and data-entry functions.
- Assist with scheduling and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.
- Handle confidential and sensitive patient information appropriately.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, multifaceted clinical environment.
- Provide coverage for vacations and earned-time absences as needed.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness of diverse patient populations.
- Maintain professional telephone and written communication.
