Travel Medical Assistant – Bilingual Medical Assistant
Join us as a vital member of our healthcare team, delivering personalized medical support to a senior patient population both in-office and in the field. This role offers an exciting blend of travel, clinical assistance, and administrative coordination, making a real difference in patients’ lives through compassionate care and exceptional service.
In this dynamic position, you will provide mobile assistance by visiting patients’ homes twice a week to facilitate health intake and support virtual visits, primarily working with patients aged 65 and older. The rest of your week will be spent at our corporate office, where you'll coordinate and schedule appointments, ensure accurate documentation, and deliver top-tier customer service. Your bilingual Spanish/English skills will be essential in creating a welcoming and effective communication experience for our diverse patient community.
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $24.00/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Location: Commerce, CA
Required Skills:
• Previous Medical Assistant experience (1+ year preferred)
• Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency
• Strong organization, time-management, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience assisting with immunizations and clinical procedures within scope of practice
• Familiarity with virtual healthcare platforms and patient portals
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Certified Medical Assistant or comparable healthcare certification
• Proven experience working with senior patients and in home health environments
Other Requirements:
• Comfort with traveling to patients’ homes in the field twice weekly
• Ability to manage documentation accurately and efficiently
• Flexibility to work 5 days per week with designated mobile and office responsibilities
