Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a float pool position requiring 2+ years of Med Surg Tele experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Float pool position within a hospital setting
• Will float to all Med/Surg Telemetry floors and like units/overflow areas as needed
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday shifts expected
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (in hand)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
• Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding within 48 hours of offer with an 85% passing score and no opportunity for remediation or re-sit
• Documented professional development activities required
• Knowledge of critical paths required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season

Additional Information

• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients across multiple units
• Nurse Manager will conduct interviews and extend offers
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
