Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a float pool night shift position requiring at least 2 years of Med Surg Tele experience and MA licensure.

Details

  • Hospital-based Float Pool position covering Medical-Surgical Telemetry units
  • Will float to all Med/Surg Tele floors and overflow areas as needed
  • 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
  • Weekend and holiday coverage expected
  • 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • Must pass Tele/ECG Competency Exam and Medications Test during onboarding with only one attempt allowed, requiring an 85% passing score
  • Documented professional developmental activities and knowledge of critical paths preferred
  • Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Biweekly orientation
  • Testing must be completed within 48 hours of offer via Zoom with CCH, with no opportunity for remediation or re-sit
  • COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
  • Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and local candidates are not accepted
  • Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6-month break before returning
  • All RTO requests must be submitted upfront
