Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring prior travel experience and 3 years of MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Work on the Wheeler 5 unit in a hospital setting
• Medical/Surgical and Telemetry patient population
• Uses telemetry monitoring equipment and Meditech EMR
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7:30a, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
• Minimum 3 years of prior Med/Surg/Tele experience required
• Telemetry and Meditech experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2024/2025 flu vaccine required prior to start

Additional Information

• Must be able to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day based on unit need, with no RTO accepted for either day
• Telemetry competency test administered on first day of orientation
• Local candidates accepted at a discounted rate
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius, with local candidates considered at a reduced rate
