Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in MedSurg and Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in MedSurg and Telemetry units.
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding to changes in patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist with patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Work collaboratively to coordinate patient care and ensure safety and comfort.
Participate in unit-based initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Floating to similar units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
BLS certification from the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
Telemetry experience is required.
Meditech experience is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility to work day shifts, with a schedule of 36 hours per week consisting of three 12-hour shifts. The position includes working every other weekend and holiday.
