Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care and monitoring in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care in the MedSurg and Telemetry units.
Monitor and assess patient vital signs, including telemetry readings.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in and coordinate patient education and discharge planning.
Assist in the implementation of care plans and adjust as necessary based on patient needs.
Float to similar units as needed to support departmental operations.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. Required working days include every other weekend and every other holiday.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (MA RN License).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry nursing.
Experience with Meditech software is required.
Telemetry experience is preferred.
Ability to take a telemetry test on the first day of orientation.

This position is located in the city of your choice within Massachusetts.
