Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing for an assignment in Concord, New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have at least 1–2 years of recent Med-Surg experience and be comfortable caring for patients with varying medical conditions, acuity levels, and nurse-to-patient ratios.

Critical Care RNs with strong Med-Surg experience and the ability to manage Med-Surg patient ratios and acuity will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Adapt to changing patient acuity levels and departmental needs.
• Float to other affiliated facilities on an emergency basis when required.

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Updated resume documenting at least 2 years of experience in the submitted specialty and travel nursing experience.
• Specialty-specific skills checklist.
• Valid driver's license with an address matching the candidate's submitted demographic information.
• Nursys report and license verification showing all active RN licenses.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required.
• Critical Care RNs may be considered if proficient in Med-Surg patient care, ratios, and acuity.

Assignment Details

• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week.
• Local Candidates: Accepted; candidates residing within 50 miles will be considered at the local rate.
• Floating Requirements: Emergency floating may be required to affiliated facilities, including:
  • Concord Hospital – Laconia: 80 Highland Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
  • Concord Hospital – Franklin: 15 Aiken Avenue, Franklin, NH 03235.
