Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Contract length options ranging from 13-20 weeks
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (preferred)
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Active certifications required in hand, pending certifications not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts to pass
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's Nicotine Free requirements
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless client-approved
