Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring MA RN licensure and 2+ years of experience.

Details

  • Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
  • 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, working every other weekend
  • Float required to an affiliated hospital as needed
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must pass a day-one pass/fail competency test upon arrival at orientation (one attempt)
  • Must complete Relias testing during onboarding to prepare for onsite testing (two attempts)

Additional Information

  • Provide telemetry-level nursing care to medical-surgical patients
  • Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates are not accepted
  • Previous employees of the health system must have a 6-month break in service before returning, and must be in good standing
  • Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (plus booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
