Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient tele experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Med-Surg/Tele/Ortho unit with 24 beds
• Patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 with mixed diagnoses
• Night shift from 6:45p-7:15a, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• Every other weekend required per unit need
• Uses Epic and Galaxy Blue systems
• RN must read telemetry and titrate heparin drips
• Performs IVs, CPAP, trach care, wound vac, PCA, dialysis fistula care, central line care, and feeding tube management

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient telemetry RN experience
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No local rate drop for this position
