Join our team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Downey, CA. We are seeking dedicated RNs with at least 2 years of experience to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Central line care/management
• Peripheral Line Care/Management
• PICC line management
• Starting IVs
• Heparin Protocols
• PCA management
• CVA and Ortho trauma care
• Total Joint Replacements
• Surgical drains management
• Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac
• External CPAP/BIPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
• Interpretation of ABGs
• Nasal Cannula and face masks oxygen therapy
• Portable Oxygen tank management
• Non-invasive airway management
• Tracheostomy Management
• Isolation Precautions
• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Important Notes:

• RTO must be on the submittal; no RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.
• Maximum of 3 days RTO allowed.
• MUST BE WILLING TO WORK HOLIDAYS.
• Once RTO is submitted, it cannot be changed unless to cancel the requested time off.
