Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Winston-Salem, NC. We are seeking dedicated RNs for a 13-week contract position with a focus on providing exceptional care to surgery patients, including those undergoing colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, and orthopedic/spine procedures.

Job Details:

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Experience REQUIRED
Travel Experience: Unit will accept 1st timers
Locals Accepted: Yes, with rate difference
Skills Required: IV Start and Telemetry
Certifications: BLS
Target Ratios: 1:6
Hours Offered: 36 or 48 Hours can be offered
Float Requirement: Occasionally
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Unit Orientation: 36 hours
Scrubs: Not provided; navy blue or white

The unit utilizes Pyxis, SBAR, and EPIC for efficient patient care. Scheduling is self-scheduled based on unit needs and with input from the Nurse Manager. Please note that RTO after booking is not allowed, and any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to a cancellation. Additionally, candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting for this specialty.
