Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring advanced tele experience and an active NH or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit setting in an acute care hospital
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week
• May be requested to float to the Laconia location
• Cardizem and insulin drip management (insulin for hyperglycemia, not DKA)
• Phenobarbital administration on the telemetry unit
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Advanced telemetry experience required
• Recent Med/Surg Telemetry Charge or Manager RN references required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required

• First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered
• Weekly orientation schedule
• Returning permanent staff may apply as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• Local candidates accepted at the local rate within a 50-mile radius
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
