ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a Med Surg/Telemetry position in Rochester, New York. This is a 12-hour night shift role with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The contract is for a travel/contract assignment starting on November 16, 2026. The position involves working in a unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 7:1 depending on the time of day. You will be responsible for providing care to patients diagnosed with acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, and sepsis. Key responsibilities include dysrhythmia management, rapid response team usage, peripheral line care, and managing special equipment such as BIPAP, CPAP, ventilators, and trach tubes. Patient care technicians will assist with vital signs, EKGs, and daily living activities. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, and floating between similar units may be necessary. Navy and white scrubs are required. This role requires at least one year of nursing experience, along with BLS certification and competency in IV placement and phlebotomy. Familiarity with Epic charting is preferred.
