Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and active, no pending certifications accepted
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts to achieve a passing score
• PBDS assessment waived for this role
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, medical/religious exemptions only
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
