Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring at least 1 year of combined Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license, Ohio or compact, in hand at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year combined Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No pending certifications accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on a hospital unit
• Will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with a passing score required within two attempts
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
