- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, starting at 7:00 PM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Participation in holiday rotation
- Floating: Float to like units only; may assist in higher acuity areas without taking a patient load
- Orientation: First shift includes unit and computer-based orientation
- Charting System: EPIC

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of surgical, Med/Surg, or telemetry nursing experience required
- Must have total joint experience
- Experience interpreting telemetry strips and cardiac rhythms
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity acute care environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday rotation as scheduled
- Experience with PCA pumps, reversal agents, sepsis management, and TPN/lipids preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for a Med/Surg Telemetry patient population with a focus on surgical and post-operative patients
- Monitor telemetry strips and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Care for patients with diagnoses including neuro, ortho, vascular, GI, sepsis, and chronic pain conditions
- Administer and monitor therapies such as IV antibiotics, TPN, lipids, PCA, and heparin drips per protocol
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support admissions, discharges, and patient flow
- Assist with a wide variety of inpatient surgical cases in a busy, high-volume unit
- Deliver safe, compassionate care while maintaining clear communication with the care team
- Adapt to changing patient needs and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment
