Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring 2+ years of recent Med/Surg or Med/Surg-Tele experience and a NH or compact RN license.

Details

  • Critical Access Hospital offering Medical, Surgical, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Mental Health services
  • Med Surg unit assignment
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating required

Requirements

  • Active NH or compact RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg or Med Surg/Tele experience required
  • Med Surg or Med Surg/Tele skills checklist required for consideration
  • One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required

Additional Information

  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital preferred
  • Must live 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible (no local candidates)
  • RTO should be limited to 3-5 days
  • Housing in the area can be challenging, so candidates should research options in advance
