Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a dayshift environment, focusing on patient assessment, care planning, and management in a Med-Surg setting.

Shift Information

Dayshift with scheduled call rotations.

Minimum Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med-Surg and Telemetry environment.
• Step Down experience is preferred but not required.

Certifications/Requirements

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support/Healthcare Provider)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Equipment Used

• EMR: Meditech
• Pumps: Alaris
• Meds: Omnicell

Patient Ratios

• Med-Surg/OBS: 1:6
• Step Down: 1:4

Contract Details

• Contracts can be canceled up to 3 times during their duration.
• On-call responsibilities may be required during times of low census, with options for full-time staff included in the rotation.
• Holiday coverage will be required.
