Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Dothan, AL. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic Med Surg unit with a focus on patient-centered care. We are seeking dedicated RNs with at least 1 year of experience, including first-time travelers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Med Surg or similar unit.
• Certifications required: BLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred.
• Must be proficient in managing drips and have experience with cardiac patients.
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius; no locals accepted.
• Pending license acceptable; previous permanent staff ineligible for travel for 10 years.

Shift details include a Day 4x12-Hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:00, with block scheduling potentially accommodated. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6-7, ensuring a manageable workload and quality patient care.
