Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring telemetry background and NIH certification.

Details

  • Med/Surg unit setting
  • Night shift schedule (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • May float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
  • Telemetry background required with ability to read telemetry
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (less than 1/4 inch)
  • Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg unit
  • Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
  • Must have a US Social Security Number and US home address
