Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift acute care position requiring at least 1 year of experience and a compact or IN RN license.

Details

  • Acute care Med/Surg unit (4EA) with 32 beds and remote telemetry monitoring
  • Telemetry monitored 24/7 and only applied when ordered
  • Patient population includes stable vent patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, and general medical/surgical cases under internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist overflow services
  • Administers IV drips including non-titrated Dopamine for renal perfusion and Heparin
  • Uses Cerner EMR
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
  • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • BSN not required

Additional Information

  • Provides direct care to medically complex and renal patients within a telemetry-capable Med/Surg unit
  • Collaborates with internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist teams
  • Local candidates accepted only if residing 50+ miles from the facility, with reduced bill rate for those within 50-100 miles
