Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Overview

The position involves providing nursing care in a MedSurg and Telemetry environment, with immediate coverage needed for holiday shifts. The nurse will work from 7 PM to 7 AM every other week, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses including Cardizem and Insulin Drips, and manage cases involving Phenobarbital on Telemetry.
• Provide nursing care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to protocols and standards.
• May float to the psych annex or lower acuity settings as needed; orientation will be provided.
• Potential to float to nearby hospitals on an emergency basis.

Qualifications

• Must possess advanced telemetry experience.
• Active RN license in New Hampshire or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• At least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting is necessary, with previous travel experience preferred.

Location

Position available in the Concord, NH area.

Additional Information

This opportunity is open to local candidates, with specific rates applicable for individuals residing within 50 miles of the facility. Candidates with strong experience without prior travel history are also considered.
