Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Contract length options ranging from 13 to 20 weeks

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background check cases accepted
• No hits on professional license accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Extensions permitted up to 18 months total, after which a 6-month break is required
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
