Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring at least 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 18-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio state or compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required; co-worker references not accepted
• No open background check cases or professional license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the night shift
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation; a passing score is required within 2 attempts
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may only be submitted for one position at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
• All RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
