Noor Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2224.88
Opportunity:
RN - Med/Surg (Acute Care, Night Shift)
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts with weekends scheduled as needed
• Typically scheduled for 1 out of every 2 weekends
• No standby or on-call requirement
• Patient ratio of 1:6/7 - must be comfortable with ratios up to 1:7
• 30-bed acute care unit
• Common patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, cellulitis, cholecystitis, appendicitis, pneumonia, urosepsis, and AKI
• Required to titrate heparin drips based on aPTT results
• Telemetry monitored remotely by monitor technicians
• Intermittent BiPAP used on unit; no ventilators
• PCTs available on the unit to assist with patient care
• Charge RN on the floor with assignment
• Floating may be required based on census - travelers are first to float
• Scheduling managed through Qgenda
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius
• Copy of unexpired driver's license required at time of submission

This acute care facility operates a 30-bed medical/surgical unit providing comprehensive inpatient care for a variety of diagnoses including cardiac, pulmonary, and infectious conditions. The unit is supported by patient care technicians and utilizes remote telemetry monitoring to ensure continuous patient safety. The facility uses EPIC as its electronic health record system and maintains a structured scheduling platform to support its clinical staff.
