Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and 18 months of Med/Surg Tele experience.

Details

  • Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Contract options available from 13-20 weeks

Requirements

  • Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (preferred)
  • One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
  • Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts allowed

Additional Information

  • Provide Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care on the night shift
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy, though this exemption may change
  • Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
  • Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a 6-month break required before returning unless client-approved
  • Background check and license history will be reviewed, and any open cases or license hits will not be accepted
