Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift travel position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 18-week assignment providing winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also considered

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a permanent role
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the Med/Surg Tele specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (coworker references not accepted)

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation, with a passing score required (up to 2 attempts allowed)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Holiday coverage required for every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
