Job Summary: The Registered Professional Nurse provides safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and their significant others. Responsibilities include delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, assessing and evaluating patient needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, educating patients and caregivers, and managing assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. The RN also ensures quality and safety in patient care, engages in process improvement strategies, and contributes to professional development initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/Med-Surg experience
• Experience with ventilators
• 1 year of travel experience for travel positions

• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program
